Andreae Filter
Holes in the upper and lower cardboard are offset, forcing the air to zigzag; inertia throws the paint particles onto the board, where they stick. Efficiency holds above 98% depending on the paint or powder. An N Type, with non-woven bonded to the lower sheet, raises the tack further.
